To be awarded to a Meadowcreek High School senior in memory of Naseer Alwakeel
The family of Naseer Naim Alwakeel is awarding a $1500 scholarship to a graduating senior at Meadowcreek High School who intends to continue their education at a post-secondary institution. The award will be given to a well-rounded student who exemplifies the best of Naseer’s skills, interests, and passions. Naseer was outstanding in academics, showed a deep concern for humanity through his leadership efforts, was praised for his sportsmanship, excelled in computer skills as well as creative writing, and at his summer internship. We’re looking for a student who excels in two or more of the following areas:
Academics
Sportsmanship
Leadership
Computer/Information
Technology
Creative Writing
Employment / Internship

Eligibility Requirements
(1) Meadowcreek 2025 graduating senior
(2) Pursuing post-secondary education (trade school, two-year college, four-year college or university)
(3) Demonstrates excellence in two of the following: academic skills, sportsmanship on an athletic team, leadership through school and/or community activities, computer/information technology, creative writing, or employment/internship
Application Process
Complete scholarship application below (and submit by 11:59pm on 3/10/2025)
Submit high school transcript
Submit a 500-750 word essay specifically describing your excellence in two of the areas listed in the Eligibility Requirements section. Additionally, your essay should include your career and educational goals
Submit two letters of support from a school administrator, teacher, guidance counselor, coach, supervisor, or community leader describing your efforts in the two areas you select for scholarship consideration
